Destination weddings

Celebrate somewhereunforgettable

Thoughtful travel planning for the two of you, the people joining you, and the days surrounding the ceremony.

Begin with the people

The setting matters. So does every journey to it.

Different airports, schedules, and budgets; one shared moment. We help the couple and guests arrive with a clear travel plan.

We help shape the travel portion: destination and resort comparisons, accommodations, flights, transfers, pre- or post-wedding stays, and a clear path for guests. Ceremony production and on-site event management remain with your venue, resort wedding team, or qualified wedding professional.

Your people. One beautiful beginning.

Picture the celebration

Begin with atmosphere, guest experience, and the days you want to share—not with a one-size-fits-all wedding package.

Start with the celebration

A wedding away can take many forms.

These are starting points. We compare the travel experience, supplier terms, and destination realities before recommending a direction.

A hosted resort celebration

A resort stay can bring rooms, gathering spaces, dining, and on-site wedding support into one setting.

An elopement or small gathering

A smaller guest list creates room for distinctive stays, private experiences, and an unhurried pace.

A celebration at sea

The right cruise can connect accommodations, shared time, and multiple places with fewer transitions.

A city, countryside, or island stay

Hotels, villas, and local transportation can be coordinated around a venue selected with your event professional.

A multi-day guest experience

Welcome time, optional excursions, and a relaxed farewell can make the journey meaningful beyond one day.

A seamless honeymoon connection

Move from the celebration into private time together without rebuilding the trip from the beginning.

More than a room block

A calm guest journey is part of the hospitality.

The strongest plan makes it easy for guests to understand their choices while protecting the couple from becoming the travel help desk.

  • Accommodation options matched to the group and supplier terms
  • Season, access, available rooms, and entry requirements checked early
  • Practical arrival, transfer, and departure guidance
  • Clear booking steps, deadlines, deposits, and cancellation rules
  • Thoughtful options for different budgets, ages, and mobility needs
  • Pre- and post-wedding travel that complements the celebration

Destination wedding questions

Helpful answers before you begin.

When should we begin planning?

Twelve to eighteen months is useful for high-demand destinations, larger groups, or limited room categories. A shorter timeline can work when the couple is flexible about place, dates, and accommodations.

Is Copper Lantern our wedding planner?

Copper Lantern plans travel. Ceremony design, venue production, decor, vendors, and on-site event management belong with a qualified wedding professional or the venue or resort wedding team. We define those responsibilities before work begins.

Can guests have different travel dates and room needs?

Often, yes. The available flexibility depends on the supplier, group agreement, destination, and inventory. We explain the choices and deadlines before guests commit.

Can you combine the wedding and honeymoon?

Yes. We can connect the celebration to a private stay nearby, a different region, a cruise, or a later honeymoon when the timing is better.

Does Copper Lantern charge a planning fee?

Copper Lantern does not currently charge a planning fee. Supplier terms, deposits, cancellation rules, group requirements, and trip-specific costs are reviewed before booking.
