Maps and location information
Airport and cruise-port directories and guides show a self-hosted static orientation map without contacting a map provider. The map gives geographic context; confirm terminals, routes, parking and directions with the official operator.
Select Load interactive map to connect to OpenStreetMap for this visit, or allow Interactive maps in Cookie Settings to load those maps automatically. The provider receives network and device information when the map loads. Return to static map stops the current map; turning off Interactive maps in Cookie Settings also revokes the saved permission. Measurement is a separate choice. A manual map request does not change saved preferences.
Interactive maps retain visible OpenStreetMap attribution. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details about optional services and stored choices.

Cruise-line itinerary photographs
Explora Journeys, Hurtigruten, and Star Clippers itinerary photographs are credited to their respective cruise lines and supplied through VacationPort under the applicable supplier agreement. Other supplier images remain subject to the source records and supplier terms described above.
Freshness, caching, and fallbacks
Travel Intelligence checks applicable sources when requested and uses bounded server-side caching to reduce unnecessary traffic. Overview summaries may be cached longer than a destination check. Detailed State Department country sections are refreshed on a bounded schedule and a short-lived last-known-good copy protects the page during a temporary source interruption. Stale information is identified by its source-check time, and visitors are directed to the linked official source for current decisions.
VacationPort content is also cache-assisted, with different refresh windows for offers, ship details, supplier profiles, and reference catalogs. A cached supplier card is an exploration aid; Copper Lantern reconfirms availability, pricing, inclusions, and terms before booking.
Matching and supplier safeguards
Destination matching fails closed: when the site cannot confidently identify a country, it hides unrelated CDC notices instead of presenting them as destination matches. WHO and FAA information use direct official handoffs. VacationPort supplier content remains available when optional Measurement is rejected; only its consumer measurement request is withheld.
